It is different for every exhaust though because the fuel mapping for your bike isn't meant for the new exhaust that you put on because it is getting much more airflow and this can make the bike to rich or to lean. So usually you have to buy a tuner to remap your bike or get someone to dyno tune it. I could even tell you how you get a good performance motor. Such as some of the bikes motors I have had. If you want to rebuild the whole motor you start at the bottom end, You have to get the motor out and split the casing of the motor to get to the crank. The best crank you can get would be a stroker crank. It allows the crank to move at a much faster pace. Then you can go you and put a high compression piston and up grade to a stage 2 or 3 cam. Or if you wanted the to go to the extreme you could buy a bigger cylinder head for the motor so you can put a bigger piston in it. Then after you do all of that you have the valves. You have to get exhaust and intake valves.Then once you have done all of this you need to upgrade the clutch which will help you shift faster and not wear down easily like a stock clutch.
Now you have all this performance in the bike and that performance cant run on cheap fuel. So you have to run around one hundred octane fuel in the bike to make it run right and now you have the engine built and the exhaust to give it better airflow. But your bike is running really hot so you need to upgrade the radiator and water pump which will cool the bike down.Now you have to buy a tuner the map the fuel injection on the bike to give the bike exactly what it needs to run smoothly. Riders can take it to a specialist and they will get it running in the best shape it could be in. Then once you have done all of this you are happy with the power but the suspension you have is not good enough. So you have to take the forks off the bike and get what springs you and other things to build the fork for your weight and riding style. Then go to the back to the spring and adjust how much spring and rebound you want from it. The suspension most would say is the most important thing on the bike. After doing all of this you are still not happy with the bike it has the power and setup you want but it still feels a little heavy in the air and corners so, you then decide to upgrade the wheels on it to get lighter wheels. Then you get a lighter chain and sprockets Even Get lighter mounts to hold the forks and handlebars. There is just endless possibility's on a bike. Then once you get done with all of that now you want some good looks on it so you have to get a graphic kit for it and get it put on. Which you can buy premade ones or make your own custom ones and get a company to make it for you. The ones I have on my bike are semi Once you have done all of this you should have the bike where you want it.
